Covington Community Daycare Center
Our Classrooms
We have children ranging in age from two weeks old to thirteen years old! Our center has an infant classroom, a toddler classroom, a preschool classroom, a school-age classroom, and a Pre-K Counts classroom. You can read more about the individual classrooms below!
Infants
Ages 2 weeks - 13 months
Our infants have a full day of learning. They listen to music, play games with their teachers, eat and drink, and nap, of course! Trips outside, rocking, bouncing, and tummy time keep our infants busy too.
Young Toddlers
Ages 13 months - 2 years
Infants graduate to the Young Toddler classroom when they are able to walk well, eat a regular lunch, and have a regular nap schedule. In the Young Toddler classroom they will learn to play with others as well as independently, sit in a high chair in the kitchen to eat with the "big kids," and start to develop gross and fine motor skills. Outside time is a favorite as they have their own special playground with equipment that's just the right size for them!
Older Toddlers
Ages 2-4
Toddlers can transition into the Older Toddler room when they turn 2 years old. They should be working on becoming potty-trained and be able to follow basic verbal instructions. Older Toddlers are able to play with others and clean up toys when asked. They will have lots of fun as they do more small group and large group activities and develop fine motor skills!
Pre-Kindergarten
Ages 3 & 4
Pre-K Counts is a special program for students between the ages of 3 and 4 whose families qualify. Mrs. K is our Pre-K teacher. You can find out more by clicking the link below!

School-Age
Ages Kindergarten to 13 Years
Before and After School Care is available at our center! After school, the students are greeted at the bus by our school-age teacher. They will then have some fun on the playground before heading inside to have snack and free-play time or a group activity until parents arrive!
